AbstractWe analyse, both numerically and experimentally, the relative intensity noise transfer in ultra-long Raman laser amplifiers isolating the combined effect of front-FBG reflectivity and pump power split and quantitatively showing their impact on a 100 km, 2nd-order, bidirectionally pumped configuration.
