AbstractCarbon,, with its incredibly rich variety of polymorphs, is one of the most common ingredients in new nanostructured materials. On the other hand, hydrogen is being actively pursued as a substitute for fossil fuels. Carbon-based nanostructured materials (CNMs) have been extensively investigated as potential hydrogen storage media.
