AbstractIn this talk we review the Cluster Decomposition Principle (CDP) for the S-matrix and how it becomes "necessary" from causality. The CDP is derived and commented in ultra-strong photonics. The latter means a scatterer (a zero dimensional quantum system, e.g. a qubit) interacting with a bosonic continuum (e.g. a photonic waveguide) in the ultra-strong regime.
