Título: | Operator [σ(1)×σ(2)]λt+(1)t+(2): Signature selection rules |
Autor: | Zamick, L.; Moya de Guerra, Elvira CSIC ORCID | Fecha de publicación: | 1-jul-1986 | Editor: | American Physical Society | Citación: | Physical Review C - Nuclear Physics 34: 290-296 (1986) | Resumen: | It is shown that in the single j shell model, the double beta decay matrix element of the operator [(1)×(2)]t+(1)t+(2) from the ground state of the magic nucleus Ca48 to the 21+ state of Ti48 vanishes. This is due to a signature selection rule. Other matrix elements in this region are also discussed. The asymptotic Nilsson model is also discussed, especially for =2. The relation of this operator to double beta decay operators is discussed. The possible confusion of (j)n states with intruder states is also considered. © 1986 The American Physical Society. | Descripción: | 7 págs.; 5 tabs. | Versión del editor: | https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevC.34.290 | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10261/142721 | DOI: | 10.1103/PhysRevC.34.290 | Identificadores: | doi: 10.1103/PhysRevC.34.290 issn: 0556-2813 |
