Abstract[EN] Philippe Bouchet from the National Museum of Natural History in Paris has been organising a series of research expeditions in the Indo-Pacific region, focusing on molluscs and crustaceans. He has worked on islands in New Caledonia (1993 and 2000), Rapa (2002), Philippines (2004) and Vanuatu (2006). A NMNS scientist, José Templado, has also taken part in the latter two as head researcher into the opistobranchia group of gasteropods.
