ResumenWe study the dynamics of a simple system with backlash and impacts. Both the presence or the absence of fluid friction is considered. The fluid friction is modeled by a fractional derivative, but it is also shown how an inhomogeneous time scale, although not arising from a fractional differential equation, may lead to some features similar to fractional solutions.
