dc.description.abstractA new Ir(II) complex [{Ir(μ-κCNHC,η6Dipp-IDipp)(H)}2][BF4]2 has been prepared and fully characterised. This complex acts as a catalyst for the hydroalkynylation of imines according to an unprecedented diiridium-mediated mechanism.-
