| dc.description.abstract | The presentation covers the dipole polarizability experiments. The long range absorption (from the extended matter distribution) eliminates the rainbow in the elastic scattering around the Coulomb barrier. Preliminary analysis on data taken during the first test run on Be-11 at ISOLDE last fall [2006] was shown. The analysis of the data will be completed before next PAC meets (mid-May [2007]). The Li-11 experiment at Triumf might run in the autumn period. Note that ISAC2 has just delivered its first beam (actually Li-11). | en_US |
