ResumenI will start by briefly reminding what is Case-Based Reasoning, a powerful problem solving method that integrates lazy learning as a fundamental component. I will argue that it is a powerful and cognitively well-founded methodology that allows to tackle complex applications. I will finally provide two examples of such complex applications, namely in music and in robotics. Indeed, the complexity of these applications have required advances in the state of the art of case-based reasoning through the invention of new approaches to case representation, case retrieval and case reuse adapted to deal with musical knowledge in one case and to cooperative soccer playing in the other case.
