Abstract

[EN] The present invention corresponds to the field of neurobiology and relates to methods for predicting the appearance of a neurodegenerative disease in a subject, for diagnosing the prodromic stage of a neurodegenerative disease in a subject, for predicting whether a subject diagnosed of a prodromic stage of a neurodegenerative disease will develop said neurodegenerative disease and for selecting a subject for a therapy for the prevention and/or treatment of a prodromic stage of a neurodegenerative disease or of a neurodegenerative disease, all of them based on the alteration of the expression levels of the DREAM-encoding gene in a tissue sample comprising lymphocytes or in a biofluid sample from said subject.
