dc.description.abstractGlass Transition temperatures of a series of poly(carbonates) and poly(thiocarbonates) derived from Bisphenol A with chlorophenyl and dichlorophenyl side groups have been determined by differential scanning calorimetry at several scanning speeds. The effect of these bulky and polar substituents on the glass transition process has been analyzed in the light of both temperature and activation energy evolution. © 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
