dc.description.abstractThe lifetime τ of the 02(+) state in Kr-78 has been measured by means of the Doppler shift attenuation method in gases. From the value of τ and the measured value of the K-internal conversion branching I-K(02(+)-->01(+))/I-K(02(+)-->2(1)(+)) the value of the electric monopole strength ρ(2)(E0) of the 02(+)-->01(+) transition has been deduced. Restriction or assignments for the spin parity of several levels in Kr-78, populated in the decay of Rb-78, have been deduced by measuring K-internal conversion coefficients of the relevant transitions.en_US
