AbstractThe Senegalese sole (Solea senegalensis) is a high-flatfish species whose aquaculture is rapidly increasing in southern Europe. However, there still exist several bottlenecks that compromise the intensive culture of this flatfish, such as the disruption of normal skeletogenesis (appearance of skeletal deformities) that decrease larval performance and quality.
