Esta monografía estudia algunas diferencias entre el
inglés y el español en lo que atañe a las construcciones
con verbos transitivos y objeto directo, con especial atención a sus
nominalizaciones, o sea a locuciones nominales que se refieren a los
hechos denotados por tales oraciones. La monografía se presentó en el
Instituto de Lenguas y Lingüística de la PUCE (Pontificia
Universidad Católica del Ecuador) en Quito.
This monography goes into some differences between
English and Spanish as regards transitive verbs and direct object
constructions, paying spetial attention to their
nominalizations, i.e. nominal phrases referring the
same facts denoted by those sentences. The monography was delivered to
the Institute of Languages and Linguistics tof the PUCE (Pontifical
Cathlic University of Ecuador), in Quito.
