My research has been focused on Taphonomy, the study of fossilization through preserved/transformed original palaeobiological information, and the study of superimposed traces (on fossil surfaces, their histology or their geo- and biochemical composition) of a secondary record of information that let us know about the site formation and past living and fossil contexts. This secondary information and traces are also fossils of the past environments and activity of contemporaneous living organisms (biotic agents) or environmental climatic conditions (abiotic agents).
