Resumen:	We investigated the effect of vermicompost on pine seedling growth independently of nutrient mediated effects, and the influence of plant genotype on the response to the addition to this kind of organic amendment. Vermicompost was incorporated, either solid or liquid, at several doses into the potting media of five selected pine progenies. Growth and maturation of the seedlings were evaluated 20 weeks after sowing.
