Resumen[EN] The DR2-2013© SAGA v1.0 module is the programmed version of the third version (June 2013) of the GIS-based water balance Distributed Rainfall-Runoff (DR2) model. The DR2 model estimates for each month of the year the Time (Tp, s) and volume to ponding, the Soil Water Content or Actual Available Water (Waa, mm), the depth of Effective Cumulative Runoff (CQeff, mm) and the Soil Moisture Status (SMS, 7 wetness-drought categories) of the arable layer of the soil at hillslope and catchment scales. This model requires between 17 and 19 inputs and it considers the spatial and temporal variations in rainfall intensity, soil saturation, vegetation and upslope contribution factors. It has been developed for the open-source SAGA© 2.0.8 GIS software for Microsoft Windows (32 bits). The DR2-2013© SAGA v1.0 module has been implemented with eight weighted Flow Accumulation Algorithms, four single-flow and four multiple-flow and it can simulate 15 scenarios of overland flow pathways with and without adding the threshold value for linear flow. It also includes a statistical package for the values of the main outputs of the simulation. Module libraries are developed using C++ code and the script of the DR2-2013© SAGA v1.0 module is registered by a notary (# 1734/2013, date: 12 September 2013, place: Madrid, Spain).
