Title: | Porous Supramolecularly Templated Optical Resonators Built in 1D Photonic Crystals |
Authors: | Hidalgo, Nuria CSIC; Calvo, Mauricio E. CSIC ORCID ; Bellino, Martín G.; Soler-Illia, G.J.A.A.; Míguez, Hernán CSIC ORCID | Issue Date: | 8-Jul-2011 | Publisher: | Wiley-VCH | Citation: | Advanced Functional Materials 21 (13): 2534–2540 (2011) | Abstract: | A synthetic route to attain photonic multilayers that presents controlled porosity only at the middle-layer level is shown. The spectral resonance associated with this porous layer shows strong sensitivity to the presence of vapors adsorbed or condensed within the void network, providing a potentially relevant material for gas detection. The importance of the interplay between pore and probe-molecule diameters is studied and its implications in size-selective detection are discussed. | Description: | 7 páginas, 7 figuras | Publisher version (URL): | http://dx.doi.org/10.1002/adfm.201002486 | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10261/83818 | DOI: | 10.1002/adfm.201002486 | E-ISSN: | 1616-3028 |
