[EN] Regional metamorphism in metasediments and orthogneisses of a deep structural level in the Spanish Central System is described here. Two metamorphic events (M1 y M2) are found again. Almandine-rich garnet, staurolite and sillimanite related to M1 are conserved as relicts and point to a former Barrowian-like metamorphism. 1k is caracterized by the breakdown of staurolite and garnet and widespreading of cordierite and sillimanite and by the development of migmatites. Peak temperatures during M2 have been determined with the garnet-cordierite and garnet-biotite geothermomethers. These data along, with topological reasons point to temperatures in the range 780 +- 50ºC for a PL = 5 Kb. Neverthless no granulites have been found here.
