Abstract

[EN] The present invention relates to a microorganism of the bacterial species Brevibacillus thermoruber having access number CECT7629. Furthennore, it relates to the use of a microorganism belonging to the bacterial species Brevibacillus thermoruber or a bacterial population comprising a microorganism of the species Brevibacillus thermoruber for the production of sulphate, wherein preferably the sulphate fonns a precipitate, or to a particular method for the production of sulphate. Moreover, the present invention relates to the use of said microorganisms for consolidating and/or remediating an inert material by means of the sulphate precipitated and to a particular method for the consolation and/or remediation of said inert material.

[ES] La presente invención se refiere a un microorganismo de la especie bacteriana Brevibacillus thennomber con número de acceso CECT7629. También se refiere al uso de un microorganismo que pertenece a la especie bacteriana Brevibacillus thennomber o de una población bacteriana que comprende un microorganismo de la especie Brevibacillus thennomber, para la producción de sulfato, donde preferiblemente el sulfato fonna un precipitado, o a un método concreto para la producción de sulfato.
