Resumen: Computational analogy offers a promising direction to algorithmically generating stories, a key challenge in computational narrative. Since analogy methods are very sensitive to the story representation being used, this paper focuses on story representation for analogy-based story generation. Specifically, we analyze existing story representation formalisms and propose a new approach based on the cognitive semantics theory of force dynamics. Finally, we present the results of our analogy-based interactive narrative system, Riu, to illustrate the utility of our proposal.
