dc.description.abstract | This patent of invention provides a method for the analysis of the acoustic time signal 5 generated during particular events or subsequent changes of state or changes in any kind of physical systems, characterized in that they have any form of time-frequency distribution. A method based on a mathematical algorithm makes it possible to unequivocally determine the quantity of information 10 (entropy), using a sound spectrum, following various intermediate stages. This procedure can be applied to any system of automatic calculation and is of special utility in biomedical sciences, and is useful for the determination of fractures in metal structures and in the prevention of seismic movements. This invention constitutes an improvement to methods currently in operation. | en_US |
| en_US |
