Métodos de análisis y validación de datos gravimétricos

Abstract

This work presents some validation methods with application to gravimetric databases. These methods comprises a validation process that involves three baste phases: a) Graphic methods: which consists in the graphic representation of the data, so gross errors can be detected, they include two and three dimensional plots and statistical and relational plots, b) Classic methods: duplicate data search and removal, block search method, altimetric validation, statistical analysis, block validation, functional validation, least squares collocation, kriging, marine data validation, Delaunay triangulations, and c) Digital methods: digital image processing, digital filters, gradient and Lapalcian based methods, line detection and the Hough transform. We will present each one of theses processes with graphic examples of them. Some computer and mathematical algorithms specially adapted to gravimetric data processing will be present. The project structure we had designed, is an optimal time reducing procedures, in this slow process of data validation.
