Efecto de la fertilización nitrogenada y potásica sobre la producción en el cultivo del plátano

Abstract

A N-K fertilizer application trial was made with bananas v.s. "Giant Cavendish" in a gravelly clay loam soil. With the aim os ascertaining which method we cold use as a guide to evaluate soil K different relations betwee varios indices of available potassium were made. From de mineral nutrition studies by soil and leaf analysis we concluded that a K level in the soil of less than 2.26 meq/100 gr. and in the leaf of less than 3.2% affects the yield, and a N foliar level less than 2.6% is a limiting factor for obtaining good yields in the conditions of this trial.
