Título: | Combined velocity-resolved C+ and dust polarization observations of 30 Doradus |
Autor: | Goicoechea, Javier R. CSIC ORCID | Fecha de publicación: | 18-sep-2019 | Editor: | German Astronomical Society | Citación: | Annual Meeting of the German Astronomical Society (2019) | Resumen: | We present a 400 square arcmin map of the velocity-resolved C+ emission toward 30 Doradus super stellar cluster in the LMC. The C+ emission observed with the UPGREAT receiver delineates shell structures around large-scale bubbles filled with hot, X-ray emitting gas ultimately produced by the strong stellar feedback from tens of massive stars in the region. We present a preliminary analysis of the gas velocity field and compare it with the orientation and strength of the magnetic field inferred from polarization observations at 154 microns and obtained with SOFIA/HAWC+. | Descripción: | Mission to the Universe: from Earth to Planets, Stars & Galaxies, Stuttgart, 16 to 20 September 2019. -- https://conference.dsi.uni-stuttgart.de/event/2/ | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10261/211883 |
