Resumen:	This communications presents a three year joint study, by CSIC, UCO and Syngenta, evaluating the performance of a heterogeneous cover crop, sown in the lane of an olive grove, on reducing runoff and soil losses and enhancing plant and arthropods biodiversity. This treatment has been compared, for biodiversity, with a homogeneous raygrass cover crop, and for runoff and soil losses also with tillage.
