AbstractThe purpose of this short review article is to give an overview of fluorinated dendrimers that self-organise producing liquid-crystalline (LC) properties and specifically to describe the different effects that the incorporation of fluorine has on their supramolecular organisation. Special emphasis is made on dendrimers modified in their periphery with fluorinated moieties.
