Título: | Coupling effect in hybrid system of plasmonic nanoparticles and J-aggregates yields double Rabi splitting |
Autor: | Melnikau, D. CSIC ORCID; Savateeva, Diana CSIC; Rakovich, Yury P. CSIC ORCID | Fecha de publicación: | 2014 | Editor: | Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers | Citación: | 16th International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks (2014) | Resumen: | In this paper, we discuss our recent results on development and characterization of three-component hybrid systems consisting of plasmonic nanostructures and two different organic dye molecules in a J-aggregate state. The measured absorption spectra exhibit a strongly suppressed absorption at wavelengths which correspond to the J-aggregate absorption bands, manifesting strong interaction between the localized surface plasmon of the plasmonic and excitonic systems. The observed dips in absorption spectra of hybrid systems correspond to an average vacuum Rabi splitting of the order of 200 meV. These findings could pave the way towards development of novel sensing devices using strong light-matter interaction on the nanoscale. | Descripción: | Trabajo presentado a la 16th International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks (ICTON), celebrada en Grazer Messe (Austria) del 6 al 10 de julio de 2014. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10261/137305 | DOI: | 10.1109/ICTON.2014.6876400 | Identificadores: | isbn: 978-1-4799-5601-2 |
