Abstract: [EN] Different culture media for in vitro multiplication of sugarbeet, from apical buds, were compared. In the establishment stage the highest fresh weight was obtained on basal medium supplemented with 4.4 μM BA, 0.5 μM NAA, and 0.3 μM GA3. The highest multiplication rates (up to 9 axillary shoots per bud) were achieved on the same medium with only 0.2 μM BA as hormonal complement. The best percentage of rooted shoots was obtained on basal medium, with macroelements at half-strength and a 5.4 μM NAA supplement.
[ES] Se han comparado diferentes medios de cultivo para la multiplicación vegetativa "in vitro" de remolacha azucarera, a partir de yemas apicales de la inflorescencia. En la fase inicial, el mayor crecimiento se dió en el medio basal suplementado con A 4.4 μM, ANA 0.5 μM y GA3 0.3 μM. La mayor tasa de multiplicación se consiguió en el mismo medio pero solo con un suplemento de BA 0.2 μM, produciéndose hasta 9 brotes axilares por yema. Los mejores porcentajes de enraizamiento se obtuvieron en el medio basal, reducidos los macroelementos a la mitad y conteniendo ANA 5.4 μM.
