Resumen:	This Paper aims to study the present status of the saladas and to quantify their visible degradation with the help of a Geographical Information System (GIS). For this purpose we analyze the changes that have occurred in the last decades and we establish indices to evaluate the condition of the saladas in terms of conservation status and vulnerability.
