dc.description.abstractBiomarker discovery has been increased by proteomics approached in high-throughput format coupled with novel nanotechniques, which can be classified in label-based and label-free detection systems. In this chapter, the application of these novel approaches in biomarker discovery is reviewed, indicating their advantages and disadvantages, challenges and implications, in addition to the improvement of sensitivity and selectivity by using nanoproteomics approaches.-
