[EN] The invention relates to bis-pyridinium cyclophane derivatives of general formula I, L being a group of formula II, wherein Q is the conjugated base of an organic or inorganic acid and has a negative charge q; A and B are independently selected from a C2-C15 spacer group; R1 y R2 are independently selected from hydrogen, halogen, C1-C10 alkyl, C1-C10 haloalkyl, amino, C1-C10 alkylamino, C1-C10 hydroxyl or alcoxyl; and X1 and X2 are independently selected from NH, NR3, O, S and CH2. The invention also relates to a method for the production of same and to the use thereof as anti-protozoa drugs for the treatment and/or prevention of diseases caused by tripanosomatids, such as leishmaniasis
