Clashing bodies: body and social values in the context of native minorities in dominating society

Abstract

[EN] The article deals with the social aspects of the culture of the body that are typical of traditional indigenous societies (in Africa), and modern society economically developed countries. The author reveals the cultural and genetic causes observed in modern Europe acute discourse and clash of opinions on culture of the body, at the same time showing how differences in relation to the body and the cultural practices are projected on problems related to ethnic minorities in general, skim. On the other hand, it goes in the article about the mechanisms of integration in the cultural space of the dominant society, the individual components of the culture of the body, are inherent tions for "indigenous" communities, such, for example, as a modification of body tattoo or socially approvable nudism.

[RU] В статье рассматриваются социальные аспекты культуры тела, характерные для традиционного общества коренных народов (Африки) и современного общества экономически развитых стран. Автор, выявляет культурно-генетические причины наблюдаемого в современной Европе острого дискурса и столкновения мнений по вопросам культуры тела, одновременно показывая, как различия в отношении к телу и соответствующих культурных практиках проецируются на проблематику отношения к этниче- ским меньшинствам в целом. С другой стороны, речь в статье идёт и о механизмах интеграции в куль- турное пространство доминирующего общества отдельных компонентов культуры тела, свойствен- ных для «туземных» сообществ, таких, к примеру, как модификация тела, татуировка или социально одобряемый нудизм.
