TRICLABENDAZOLE (tcbz) is a benzimidazole anthelmintic
which is highly effective against liver flukes such as Fascíola
hepalica and is widely used in veterinary practice. Recent reports
describe the association between benzimidazole drugs and their
metabolites and digesta, and show how the rate of passage of
digesta influences fenbendazole (Prichard and others l981, Taylor
and others 1992), oxfendazole (Ali and Hennessy 1993, 1995,
Hennessy and others 1994) and TCBZ (Taylor and others 1993)
