El mío es un perfil multidisciplinar entre la demografía, la ecología de poblaciones, la genética y la biología de la conservación, con una sólida formación cuantitativa. Mediante el uso de técnicas matemáticas, así como genéticas, estimo los parámetros demográficos de las poblaciones, analizo la influencia de la variabilidad ambiental en la dinámica de la población e identifico los factores determinantes en la dinámica de la población, en el espacio y el tiempo. Uno de mis principales intereses de investigación se centra en el análisis de las respuestas de las poblaciones a las perturbaciones ambientales. Mi objetivo principal es avanzar hacia una ecología predictiva más fiable, especialmente útil en biología de la conservación y en la gestión de organismos vulnerables.
