1) Cuantificación de la emisión de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) del suelo a la atmósfera bajo diferentes prácticas agrícolas (laboreo, fertilización nitrogenada, riego). 2) Estudio de factores bióticos y abióticos determinantes de las emisiones GEI y establecimiento de patrones espacio-temporales de emisión. 3) Modelización y dinámica de los ciclos del C y N en agroecosistemas Mediterráneos a diferentes escalas (parcela, paisaje, regional, nacional). 4) Desarrollo de herramientas de simulación de la emisión de GEI a escala regional-nacional adaptadas a nuestras condiciones. --------- 1) Quantification of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from soils as affected by different agricultural practices (tillage, nitrogen fertilization, irrigation). 2) Investigation of abiotic and biotic factors affecting GHG emissions and determination of spatial and temporal emission patterns. 3) Modelling and dynamics of C and N cycles in Mediterranean agroecosystems at different scales (plot, landscape, regional, national). 4) Development of tools for simulating GHG emissions at regional-national scale adapted to our conditions.
