COAR Launches Draft “Resource Type” Vocabulary for Open Access Repositories [25/08/2015]
COAR has published the first outcomes of its working group devoted to promoting the usage of SKOS-based controlled vocabularies in repositories worldwide. This first proposal refers to types of research outputs and the international community is invited to send comments about the proposed definitions and terms in any of the languages of the vocabulary. DIGITAL.CSIC is part of its Editorial Board.

DIGITAL.CSIC role in EC initiative to support OA publications resulting from finalized FP7 projects [17/06/2015]
The European Commission has created a €4 million fund to support the open access publication of journal articles, conference papers, monographs and book chapters resulting from FP7 projects that have finalized after January 1, 2013. DIGITAL.CSIC contribution to First Meeting of BiblioSalud2015 [01/06/2015]
DIGITAL.CSIC was invited to speak at the First Meeting of BiblioSalud, the National Conference of Documentation and Information Management in Health Sciences, held in Madrid on May 22, 2015. DIGITAL.CSIC presentation focused on emerging services for repositories in Biomedicine beyond open access.
